Pressbooks Results Demo Course

Welcome to the Pressbooks Results Demo Course!

This course has been designed to give you a sample experience of our rebuilt Pressbooks Results for LMS solution. This Canvas course includes several Pressbooks chapters which have been integrated into the course via LTI. 

The first module, 'Course Introduction', includes this introductory page, an ungraded Pressbooks chapter that provides context and information about Pressbooks Results, and an open discussion forum that you can use to pose any questions you have about Pressbooks Results.

The second module, 'Graded Activities', includes 4 sample graded activities. Each activity is worth 10 total points in the LMS gradebook, and each uses a different grading scheme: Lição 1 uses 'best attempt'; Lorine Niedecker's "Black Hawk held" uses 'first attempt'; Anatomy of Skin uses 'last attempt', and Chemical Equations and Stochiometric Relationships uses 'average attempt'. As a student you can launch each chapter as many times as you like and attempt the embedded activities. Your grade will be updated based on your performance and the chapter's grading scheme.

The last module, 'Pressbooks Results Viewer', includes a link to the Pressbooks Results Viewer, an interactive page, built in Pressbooks, that displays details of your performance on the individual activities embedded in each graded chapter. As a student you can only view your scores; instructors are able to view the scores of all enrolled students when viewing the Pressbooks Results Viewer.
